1. For proper application of Region Management System

From copy rights protection point of view, it is recommended in DVD Specification for Read -Only Disc that the players, ( or the products which provide equivalent functions), which play back DVD Video Disc, equip Region Management System, furthermore, play back only One Region Number.

In the event of violation of the recommendation described above, copy rights holders will fail to protect their Software copy rights. Due to such violation, copy rights holders are reluctant to release DVD Software. As a matter of fact, sound development of DVD market will be damaged due to the absence of DVD Software.

Kindly understand the point of this Region Management of DVD Book, and design products so that they can comply with Region Management of DVD Book, and also design DVD Video Players in a manner they will not be modified easily.

Your kind understanding and cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated in advance.

2. For proper application of DDP 2.0 Specification

Since specification for scrambling on data is not defined in DDP 2.0, data can not be played using DVD-ROM Drive, in case that the specification is misunderstood.

In the event of formatting Disc using DLT tape which is made by DDP 2.0, it is recommended that you make inquiry of DCA after obtaining CSS License, or confirm that the Disc can be played properly with DVD ROM Drive.
