Identification methods are introduced
to Part 3 and each Part 1
In Part 3, a flag, named "Adapted disc type", is defined and set
up for VMGI*1 and each DSI_GI*2 to distinguish the user's own
Audio/Visual contents recorded on a disc that replicates material
from a commercial one. When the flag is set, it indicates that
the recorded contents are the user's own contents, to be recorded
on a DVD-R for General or a DVD-RW disc.
The contents to be recorded must not be covered by any copyright.
In each Part 1, a flag, named ADP_TY*3, is defined and set up
for each physical sector in the Data area of a disc to distinguish
where a user's own Audio/Visual contents are recorded from a disc
where commercial ones are replicated. When the flag is set, it
indicates that the sector contains material based on the DVD-Video
Format.
